Comparison of immobility time in the forced swim test. Data are expressed as meanā€‰Ā±ā€‰S.E.M. with 12 rats per group. The animals in SPS 7d group or SPS 14d group spent a significantly longer percentage of immobile time (immobile time%) compared with the control group (pā€‰<ā€‰0.001, respectively) (A). The microinjection of ZIP to the hippocampus resulted in reduced percentage of immobile time in the SPSā€‰+ā€‰ZIP group compared with the ZIPā€‰+ā€‰Saline group (pā€‰<ā€‰0.001) (B).
