Comparisons of locomotor activity of rats with low (LOWFCN) and high levels of inhibition (HIGHFCN) selected in the FCN task in response to saline and amphetamine injections (1 mg/kg i.p.). LOWFCN had a higher locomotor response to amphetamine compared to HIGHFCNlasting 1 h after injection. LOWFCN locomotor activity returned to basal levels 70 min after amphetamine injection whereas it only returned to baseline after 40 min for HIGHFCN. ANOVA (NK): ***, p < .001; ** p < .01; * p < .05.
