Timing accuracy in LHT: Mean timed responses. Mean timed response μ ± SEM as a function of target time T. The solid lines are traces of the timed response function μ = θT + δ, with response threshold θ (but not minimum duration δ) varied across strains. The larger value of θLE, evidenced by the steeper slope of its timed response function, is indicative of a bias towards responding later. For SHR and WKY, the timed response function is closer to the identity (dotted) line, indicating that θSHR ≈ θWKY ≈ 1.
