Significant clusters in the precuneus. In MCI 1, the cluster comprises a large area of posterior cingulate and retrosplenial cortex, commonly associated with the default mode network. In MCI 2, the cluster lies in the cranial part of the precuneus, behind the paracentral lobule. This area has recently been identified as a motor-related compartment of the precuneus (see Discussion for details).
