Effect of traumatic injury to female flies on the length of larvae. The length of larvae in the TI and control groups was measured. Twenty larvae in each group were used to measure the length of larvae. There was a significant increase in the larvae length of TI-larvae (larvae obtained from traumatically injured female flies) as compared to control larvae (larvae obtained from female flies without TI).
