Throughout the study, the HC group was more accurate. At the beginning of practice, Block 1, there is no difference between random (black) and repeated (white) segments. Over the course of training both groups improved on the repeated segment to a greater extent than the random segment. This improvement persisted at retention testing with both groups exhibiting repeated segment-specific learning.
